Got those B2P pens from Staples that I listed yesterday. Very cool. Made from recycled water bottles.
Another bad review this week is of Shecky’s. If you don’t know them, they have events all over the country. You buy a ticket, get cocktails, goodie bags, and shop. I’ve never gone, but my daughter goes every year. This year she wasn’t feeling well, and couldn’t make it. One of her friends tried to get her goodie bag for her, since she did pay for her ticket. She knew it was doubtful, but was nice enough to give it a try. Instead of politely saying it was against company policy, which would have been acceptable, the Shecky’s representative was rude and mocked her. Obviously someone who shouldn’t be out on his own recognizance never mind working customer service. When my daughter, who felt awful about it, contacted Shecky’s corporate office, no apology was made. She was just told she couldn’t get a goodie bag, which wasn’t even the reason she called. Nasty company with untrained representatives. At least I hope they’re untrained.
