My real estate lawyer who didn’t do her job to begin with, won’t take care of the tax assessment on my property from prior owner not paying his sewer bill for what appears to be over a year. This should not be my bill, but the town doesn’t care who they get the money from. Lawyer won’t even contact title company, who should have found it. I guess my next step is to go to the local Bar Assoc. Why is everything so hard?
Finally got through to my old apartment complex using cell phone. They apparently don’t answer from my home number. Still haven’t gotten deposit back. I told her next week she’ll get a subpoena from small claims court if I don’t get it. Said she’d get back to me. I won’t hold my breath.
Hubby’s worked OT the past 4 nights. I’m actually looking forward to having a featherless biped to talk to.
